Student Library Cards

An essential element of all schools and universities is the library. Students use libraries to learn about new technology, as a study location, research, as well as find books or other materials to read. Student library cards are a fundamental tool used to maximize school library services and often times are integrated into general student ID cards and include a bar code or magnetic stripe.

Uses for a Student Library Card

A student library card can have multiple useful functions inside their school, college or university library, whether it’s integrated into an ID or not. Some of these include:

  • Checking out books, magazines or scholarly articles for leisure or research
  • Checking out multimedia equipment like projectors, computers, cameras, etc.
  • Making photocopies or printing pages from the computer lab
  • Using internet and computer lab resources
  • Library access control

Card Tech ID can custom print your student and staff ID badges as well as library cards, whether integrated or not. As well as the cards, Card Tech ID can provide badge accessories, such as lanyards, badge reels or badge holders.
